Contexte

RATP Dev operates and maintains urban and intercity transportation systems on four continents, to make distances shorter, boost regional economies and bring people together. RATP Dev designs, deploys, and manages every part of the mobility chain — from operations to service and maintenance. RATP Dev provides customized solutions that have redefined the urban landscape and made traveling more enjoyable all around the world.

The Belgrade Metro Project is one of the main public transport infrastructure projects in Serbia.Design System specifications and preliminary ground works are in progress and commercial opening of Line 1 is planned in 2028. BMV and the Secretariat for Public Transportation plan to hire RATP Dev to provide services for the design review based on our international know-how in automated metro system. These services will be provided through an Early Operator Assistance Services Contract prior to a possible Operation and Maintenance Contract. Serbian authorities are working on studies and design of Metro Line 2 to open in 2030 and Metro Line 3 in 2030.

Missions

Reporting to the Project Director based in Belgrade, the Project Manager position consists in supporting the Project Director (a RATP DEV metro expert based in Belgrade) and the technical team in Paris for providing technical assistance to BMV covering design review, feasibility studies, input management, risks identification, system technical definition, technical drafting, etc. This covers all aspects of the project (rolling stock, fixed equipment) tooptimize the design in terms of operability, maintainability, and costs.

This position during the Early Operator's Involvement can naturally evolve to an operational position during the construction of the O&M contract, the mobilization for the Operation and Maintenance phase and then the day-to-day operation of the Belgrade Metro

The Project Manager will report directly to RATP DEV Project Director in Belgrade and will be employed under Serbian Labor Law Contract in Belgrade.

Responsabilités et activités

• Insure good communication between BMV / the Secretariat for Public Transportation and RATP Dev
• Draft in English specific requests from BMV / the Secretariat for Public Transportation
• Make translations and synthesis in Serbian from RATP Dev experts' analysis and outputs
• Participate in meetings, facilitate communications and presentations to make sure the points and requests from BMV / the Secretariat for Public Transportation are properly understood and addressed
• Manage project documentation of BMV and its subcontractors to enable design review by RATP Dev experts
• Analysis of technical documentation with RATP Group expert support
• Project management of RATP Dev activities
• Analysis of planning and sequences
• Support the Project Director to liaise with the technical team in
Paris
• Follow-up of budget
• Administrative support

Expériences et compétences requises

• Excellent writing and speaking abilities in Serbian and English (and possibly French, optional)
• At least five-year work experience in similar activities on infrastructure or asset management projects
• Master's degree in engineering (civil or electro-mechanical)
• A genuine interest for public transport.
