In Australia, RATP Dev will be part of a consortium with international companies. A first agreement has already been announced. We will take part of the bid process for the future automatic lines Sydney West (24 km, 9 stations) and Sydney Greater West (23 km, 6 stations). This will be a public-private partnership (3P).
In this context, RATP Dev is looking for the Finance Leader who will be the Head of Finance for the Operations and Maintenance perimeter and who will review the comprehensive finance structure of the JV.

About the job

Within the Bid team, the Bid Finance Leader manages the Finance Workflow and all due stakeholders. S.He manages a Business Analyst who will take charge of the finance model. S.He also supervises the external advisors and consultants.
S.He reports to the Bid Director and has a deep knowledge of the contract; s.he ensures financial compliance with RATP Dev governance principles regarding risks and financial targets. The Bid Finance leader is the contact for the Group Finance Direction regarding tax, finance and insurance matters.

As main responsibilities, the Bid Finance Leader:

- Leads the activities related to the financial structure and funding of the Operations and Maintenance;
- Supervises the Business Analyst with financial parameters and accounting policies of the bid model;
- Produces specific financial deliverables as required;
- Responsible for the budget related to financial resources (internal and external);
- Participates in negotiations of MOU and other contracts regarding financial issues;

- Reviews and assesses the financial model and policies of the JV, beyond Operations & Maintenance scope;
- Assists the Bid Director with preparing governance documents, including the financial analysis of the project to be sent to the Reviewer;
- Identifies and mitigates the main financial risks through the Risk Register;
- Provides the Bid Director with the financial issues to be discussed with the Steering Committee.

Other requirements for the role

- Experience of at least 8 years in Project Finance;
- Relevant experience in bid processes, ideally with a knowledge of Public-Private Partnerships;
- A position within a M&A boutique, Private Equity, Funds or Transaction Services will be valued;
- English is a must, both written and oral; French will be a great plus;
- Advanced financial modelling skills;
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with strict deadlines as a part of a team;
- Strong negotiation skills, tact and diplomacy;
- Excellent analytical reasoning ability and capable of making decisions on complex matters;
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
